I’m
Miss Josie Gellar originally from Rose Bay, North Carolina. I’m the only
daughter of Ted and Shannon Gellar. I’m 20 years old and I’m attending
my second year at the University of North Carolina. Go Hurricanes!!
Currently I’m working towards a double BA in Graphic Design and Art
History. My first love in
life is art, when I’m not in class, studying or working you can find me
in my dorm working on arts & crafts projects. I also really enjoy
horseback riding and swimming. My favorite colors are purple, black and
sea-foam green. The biggest thing I’ve learned so far in life is that a
person can accomplish anything they want to as long as they put their mind
to it and work hard, my grandma Ruth taught me that.
My personal motto is
"Ars longa, vita brevis",
which translated from Latin is “Life is Short, Art is Forever”. I
cherish everything that I’m experiencing right now and I’m very
thankful for the opportunity to participate in Miss Doll America.
